How much do blackjack dealers make after tips?

Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places, but every number I find is all over the place.

One article says dealers don’t make much until tips are added. Another makes it sound like tips are where all the money comes from. Then I found a thread about blackjack dealer salary, and those numbers didn’t match either.

So what’s actually realistic?

Not talking about someone dealing high-limit games in Vegas. More like a regular casino, regular shifts. Is the paycheck mostly base wage, mostly tips, or does it depend entirely on the property?

Would be interesting to hear from people who’ve actually done the job instead of websites throwing out random averages.

100% depends on where u work.

People throw out averages like they actually mean something lol. A slow local place vs a packed casino on Saturday night? Totally different world.

I DEALT FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS.

The hourly rate wasn’t the exciting part.

Tips were.

Some nights were great, some were honestly disappointing. Anyone claiming there’s one number for every dealer is oversimplifying it.

casino dealer pay rankings online are comedy

site A: “$38k”

site B: “$67k”

same job… okay then.

nah.the first question should be "where?"Vegas? Tribal casino? Riverboat? Small local property?Without that, talking about blackjack dealer earnings is basically guessing.
