Blackjack Perfect Strategy Still Loses Hands

i think people hear blackjack perfect strategy and expect some cheat code

it’s not that deep bro :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

it just means you stop guessing. you look at your hand, look at dealer upcard, and make the best move for that spot. sometimes that move still loses. annoying, but normal

like hard 16 against dealer 10. nobody enjoys hitting that. feels nasty. but if the chart says hit, you hit. not because you “feel lucky” but because standing there forever bleeding slowly isn’t better

a perfect blackjack chart is useful for those hands where your brain starts arguing with itself. pairs too. people love doing weird stuff with pairs. splitting 10s is the classic “look at me” move and usually just ruins a great hand

also check the table first. optimal blackjack strategy on a 3:2 table is one thing. playing 6:5 and pretending you’re sharp is another. same with soft 17 rules and surrender

so yeah, blackjack perfect play to me is simple: right chart, right table, no ego. still lose hands, just fewer dumb ones :fire:

this is the part ppl hate lol

you can play perfect and still get wrecked for five hands straight. then they say the chart “doesn’t work” :sob:

nah, variance works. that’s the problem

blackjack perfect strategy is just there to stop you adding extra mistakes. it won’t stop the dealer from pulling some miracle 5-card 21 and making you question life

and yes 6:5 tables are trash. don’t sit there then blame the perfect blackjack chart when the payout is already worse

exactly

Perfect play is not about winning every hand it’s about not making the bad ones worse

I’ve seen folk follow a chart for ten minutes then lose two hands and suddenly they’re “adjusting” based on feeling. That’s where it all falls apart. The chart didn’t fail, they just got bored of discipline.

If ye want optimal blackjack strategy, use the chart that matches the rules and stick to it when the table gets ugly. That’s the hard part. Anyone can follow it when winning.

And keep the stakes sane. Perfect decisions with daft bet sizes still empty a wallet quick.
